The summer cup this year wont be much better with so far 60 horses nominated and only 19 have ratings 100 or more plus phum are offering to pay for the transport costs of raiders..it will be on a par with the july consolation race when you take an average on ratings for the field

Maybe if the big race stakes on the Highveld are increased to such a level that both Dbn and CT raiders can't keep ignoring it anymore but that is just a pipe dream and easier said than done.

Bob Yearham mentioned that it was two years ago they annouced the increase to the competing charities from 550 to a million
Hopefully next year R1.5m
Larry replied when you put up the million you forced me to match you and lift the stake.

If you put it to 1.5 it will force me to talk to my board and i am sure we can match the stake to 1.5
