Paul Peter on form and they backing his horse(VIP)from 25-1 to 5-1.It's last three runs have been shocking but we know how shrewd this trainer is.

CM is too good a jock to be caught out like this.
Mike de Kock said about Sir David Baird: “He’s a horse that has to be scrubbed along to keep his momentum so Callan’s looking around didn’t help. He was over-confident, we shouldn’t have lost. He came back pale as a ghost and I let him have it! “He’s a young jockey though, this is how they learn and if he doesn’t get time from the stipes, he will get time from me. Jockeys are paid to keep their heads down and win, not for antics. Punters hate this. But the sooner this happened for Callan, the better. It’s out of the way now, he won’t do it again.”
Got to love MDK. CM will never make this mistake again.

7 years 9 months agoYou right there mydada.Trainers comments for Kenilworth didn't help much as the ones who where supposed to win didn't and Bass's first timers who where going to need the run and longer distance won. Can't blame Snaith too much as his horses all ran well maybe just unlucky in the running I suppose.I won't forget that comment from a new trainer in the Cape a few weeks ago when his horse had a bad prep and was going to need the run only for the horse to be backed to favorite and win. Most trainers are being honest with us but there is one or two that spoil it for the rest but comments on a whole can only benefit the punter.mydada wrote:durbs wrote: What you okes reckon, proper money on Rasheeka with Herholdt up and not Murray?Got knocked about many times but no ways was it ever going to win.
