It amazes me that you have to look on an overseas site to see the race results in SA without paying and especially the replays.. Or am I wrong?

SDB travelled very smartly and I expected Murray to ask him at the 300 to extend but he seemed to see how far he could win by without asking the horse to work. Then when Darkest hour ranged up, it was far too late for the horse to get into its stride when Darkest Hour was already alongside.
Will need another run to judge.
I also try and not criticize jockeys but that ride deserves to be looked into for the reputation of the sport.
Watch the race again, and in my opinion, he only got stuck into his mount once the winner got alongside him. Again my opinion, once he had cruised into the lead, had he ridden his mount out, I'm almost certain you would have had a different result. It's not like the horse didn't stay or see out the trip, it's a case of being (not) too clever for your own good, but with other peoples money at risk.
If the horse didn't stay the trip, then i apologise to Murray.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The sooner the stipes clamp down on this sort of unprofessionalism, the better for racing as a whole.
CM is too good a jock to be caught out like this.

Who was the commentator? (Not Bumpy's son by any chance?)

Not a great commentary but the guy is obviously young & learning. Im sure he will improve with experience. Anyone new in our game is welcome.

Top ride by Marwing to get up. Reminiscent of the old days.

If he keeps calling, I'll be forced to watch on mute
