He is 7 years old, down to a MR 60 after being as high as 99; 3rd run in 8 months. Overdue for retirement.

Easy my brother you are based in the UK, your horse is based in KZN. With the greatest of respect WHO told you that your horse has no issues? If it comes from the stable, I suggest you re-evaluate your views.

The horse ran his heart out in his career and earned a lot of money, this time last year he was completing a hat trick winning at Turffontein and was having his 3rd run/win in just 5 weeks, now has run 3 times in 5 months, is running off a MR just 1 point higher than when he won on the Turf last August but is yet to earn a cent since relocating, surely he is telling you something ...the time to do the right thing is long over due...

He has never made a secret of racing his horses in his wifes name or in partnership without being registered. The NHRA are toothless in this regard, as long as he pays his bills why would they care. He is one of many who would rather not let interested parties know his interests.

I think a personal attack is uncalled for considering we are discussing the horse not who owns it,easy may or may not have a vested interest in the horse but Im sure either way he is in touch with the current owner and is kept up to date ...

My role is one of
owner (when it suits)
advisor (full time)
analyser (full time)
hirer and firer ( full time)
racing manager (full time)
most of these are NOT licensed roles
I will alway abide by rules as a matter of fact when I worked as a agent I was one of the few that was licensed.
As for Lebeoana yesterday was a complete and utter farce.
The reason he has not run for so long was because a minority shareholder from the sportofkings days owes and owed money all over and refused to pay bills etc. To be spiteful he withdrew his authority to act. The trainer had to dig into her own pockets to settle accounts on this persons behalf as we were all held ransom by him.
There are letters/emails in the toothless organisation mentioned above highlighting this matter which is FACT.....yet the horse was prevented from running.
Finally the moment he has had enough he will be retired properly.

The Tatling won a decent race at 14.Megalala ran until it was 16.
My parents still go swimming at 79 and 82. There's plenty of evidence of staying active prolongs a healthy life. From what I've heard about the neglect ex racehorses receive in South Africa,I'd rather they ran a bit longer if fit, healthy and able.

Dave, I have no problem with racing mature horses provided they are sound and enjoying it. An example is Blarney Bay which my partner and I raced , and he was still winning, until he was 9. When he showed us that he had had enough , he was retired.

ahhh that clue Blarney Bay makes sense now.
I see where you have horses and why you have an issue with us...... don't worry always a few sides to stories and eventually you will see what I said is true.

I have no issue with you- I don't know you. However, you took Sheldon to task for a comment he made - I was just making the point that based on what one sees in the horse's history, his comment seems quite logical.
