Canford Cliffs

It's old news, but very exciting for Highland Stud to have Canford Cliffs covering mares next year.
I wonder what the fee will be.Hes produced winners in Ireland and England, looks like he may be a successful sire.He had a great turn of foot, big heart and Richard Hughes rode him like a king.

Canford Cliffs is 16 years and never sired a Group/Grade 1 winner as yet despite being a multiple Group 1 winner.
The reason I am posting this is that yesterday Accelerate a Breeders Cup Classic and multiple Grade 1 winner was retired from stud and is only 10 years of age. I am surprised that Turkey, a South American country or even South Korea never make a deal. The owners on the other hand could just want the best for the horse after a successful racing career.
Above average horses does not necessarily means good stallions or broodmares.
Duke Of Marmalade took quite awhile to get a Grade 1 winner in South Africa.
