He ran the Chris Erasmus natal yard from Yellow Star Stud for a few years before taking out his own license, no relation to Rhys..

Race is a touchy issue in South Africa so I dont like to be offensive so I presume, M R Allie, is Cape Malay ?

Bennett Bulana.
Trained in KZN. Had the kitchen sink thrown at him with Gold Circle buying horses and subsidizing a large portion of the training fees to encourage owners to support him at lower training fees.
It last just over a year I think.
He was under the watch of another seasoned trainer though - the name escapes me
