Aldo Domeyer looks to have some really decent rides and could enjoy another red letter day. Taken a treble with his first three rides on the card.
Endofmarch has been getting closer with every start, was gaining late last time out from a fairly wide draw and has come in for some solid support. From draw 3, he must be the one they all have to beat.
Race 2, all the support is for Dollar Tractor who has beaten Weekend Warrior, and finished some 3.55 lengths behind smart sort Dutch Phillip. There has been 5 runners and no winners from the Dutch Phillip race. Weekend Warrior won a tad cosily last time out, admittedly this looks to be the most difficult of the three races to win for the sake of the bet, but the horse doesn't have the worst form in the race which is a plus.
Race 3, Rocket Countdown a juvenile who made a fair debut. Taking on some older horses who have had a few attempts at getting out the Maiden ranks. The form from that race has produced two winners to date, hopefully with natural improvement Rocket Countdown can pull this off.
Those with good eyesight, is that Domeyer on the cover of the Cape Computaform, if so, the omens are good, I'm going to stand in the pay-out queue

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Cold and rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon - tailwind likely.
Race 1: EndofMarch has good form but has been priced up ridiculously short. The Judicator, Cradleofgratitude and Polar Rock all ran close up behind EoM last time. Gimmethelight showed good improvement last run and should enjoy the trip although a poor draw.
Race 2: There is not much between the 4 winners- I have a marginal preference for Weekend Warrior. The 7 maidens get 3kg but don't look good enough.
Race 3:A big field and quite a few with chances. Rocket Countdown is the pick as he has plenty scope for improvement.
Race 4: Silicone Valley is selected to beat Tevez. If looking for an upset, then include Villa del Largo and Jet Air.
Race 5: A very competitive handicap. Cortada is consistent but Fire Walker has him held at the weights on the race behind Al Wahed. Wind River has scope for improvement but quite a bit to do under top weight. Cardinal Call is consistent.
Race 6: Another tricky race. Empire Rising looks fair ew value at 12/1.
Race 7: Verdier drops in class after fair efforts in the Winter Series, and is the one to beat at attractive 7/1 odds. Commander Bond is weighted to turn the tables on Perovskia, although the latter is 2 wins from just 4 starts so plenty scope for improvement.
Race 8: Our Lady Peace has been knocking on the door, but jumps from a very wide draw. La Claire has fair form. Brave Mode and Saint Lazare are the two to beat after good debuts.
My two runners, Insinya and Ginger Rose both cracked good draws, but will need to improve to earn. Both should enjoy the 1400m and have outside place chances. Of the two I prefer Insinya.

Rowing in with Tevez, hoping Silicone Valley is looking for further at this stage of his career.

Both tried their hardest, don't think they had much room in the closing stages
