African Night Sky should stay on his dams side. hope he can pull it off. Ollivander could be the danger if the rest don't stay.

Well apparently he stays in that company:)
Impressive and not stopping at line . Staying sort finished second best and don't think many of the others stayed well or just not in same class.
Great to have a triple/series winner and exciting for the Cape season.

as for Ngaga, good run considering the weird route Grant tried to take. she's got the ability. As I said, needs 2000m and a wee bit of luck.[/quoted
Silver Coin had run once in its life
It won a maiden over 1200m for 2 year olds.
Today it returned after being off the track for 3 months.
It had never run anywhere near this distance,
It had never been around the bend in a race.
With all this information at hand Mr Grant Knowles selects the horse as a BANKER in his PA.

While taking nothing away from his achievement in winning the winter series, this race merely highlights the dearth of quality stayers.
Neither Newlands nor Our Mate Art appeared to stay the trip, and ran way below their ratings, while the balance of the field are moderate handicappers. Using Olivander (80) as the line horse, ANS ran 93 and runner up Paddington improved from 75 to 82.
