Inconsistencies by the NHA

The meeting abandoned due to a Jockey protest at the Vaal earlier this year is still not resolved. There is no press release and I cannot find anything on the NHA website despite an enquiry into the incident being opened. When you consider how quick they are to act against the defenceless I have to ask why have they not acted. If these guys had any authority they would have punished the jocks involved, and this would have prevented further protests as seen at Kenilworth on the weekend.

I also see the fines for doping are biased and unfair. If you train for racing royalty in this country you can piss pure cobalt and get away with it, yet other trainers get nailed for far less. We also see the size of the fines varying. Paul Peter must have upset someone to get the fine that he did.
