The curry for breakfast comment is funny !
I deal with many afrikaaners and their perception of Indians and their food etc is about 40 years behind. Most think that we don't even understand Afrikaans.

I often get asked how to make a lekker " Kerry " . Although tempted to ask wtf that is , I mostly smile politely.
