It has all he makings to be a great game of football. My pick is Real, but will not be throwing the kitchen sink at it. Both teams have established stars, and rising future stars. I guess its just a question of who shines brightest on the day.

Gigi will have Ronaldo in his pocket. He will not score. The best chance Madrid have of scoring is Ramos. Dybala will score for Juve. Juve to lift the cup.

Juve have the best all round team in Europe. From their keeper right through to the striker without the ball they defend and when they have the ball they all move forward and they keep the ball very well. Hope that its a free flowing match. Juve 3 Real 1

Defensively tight from Juventus, expect the first goal from an unlikely source, not the usual suspects, Toni Kroos (17/1)
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Juventus v Real Madrid, Champions League Final Preview blogs.wsb.co.za/juventus-v-real-madrid-c...eague-final-preview/

Juventus and Real Madrid contest the final of the Uefa Champions League in Cardiff on Saturday night and Real look set to start as narrow favourites.

Real are the defending champions having beaten Atletico on penalty kicks last season, one of three finals to have gone beyond regulation time in the last five seasons. They had to get past Atletico again in the semi finals (4-2 on aggregate) and they have also had the better of Bayern (6-3) and Napoli (6-2) over two legs of earlier knockout rounds. Real also finished as Spanish champions this season, coming home ahead of Barcelona in the title race.

Juve’s 2016/17 record is awesome and they are looking to add this trophy to a league and cup double in Italy. They are unbeaten in this competition and in the knockout rounds they came through every round with daylight in terms of the aggregate score, Monaco in the semi’s (4-1), Barcelona in the quarters (3-0) and Porto in the Round of 16 (also 3-0).

Champions League History

Real Madrid have been crowned European Champions a total of 11 times and their five most recent wins came in the Champions League era, in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2014 and 2016. They have also been runners up three times and the last of those came back in 1981.

Juventus have just the two titles which came in 1985 and 1996. They have something of an unwanted record in having finished as runners up six times between 1973 and 2015.

Recent Meetings

The teams last met in the semi finals in the 2014 / 15 season and Juve came out on top, 3-2 on aggregate but they went on to lose the final to Barcelona. Prior to that the teams met in the group stage of the 2013/14 season and once again there was little to choose between the teams.

May 2015 UCL Semi 2nd Leg Real Madrid 1-1 Juventus

May 2015 UCL Semi 1st Leg Juventus 2-1 Real Madrid

Nov 2013 UCL Group Stage Juventus 2-2 Real Madrid

Oct 2013 UCL Group Stage Real Madrid 2-1 Juventus

90 minutes Match Result

Juventus 18/10

Draw 22/10

Real Madrid 16/10

Note: Prices correct at the time of posting but are subject to change

Bets: 90 minute draw at 22/10

Anytime Goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo at 5/4

Although they have different strengths the teams look so hard to separate that it would be no surprise if extra time was needed. We also fancy Ronaldo, who is second top scorer in the competition, to score anytime in the 90 minutes.
