Bookmakers are taking cover in the face of a "monster gamble" at the Curragh with Yourartisonfire slashed into a top-priced 9-2 from 25-1 for the apprentice handicap.
The seven-year-old, ridden by Sean Davis, is having his first start for trainer Michael O’Callaghan after moving from Lisa Williamson in the 22-runner 7f contest (5.05).
5.05 Curragh card
Betfair spokesman Barry Orr said: “It’s been our biggest mover of the day. It started off early and grew through the morning. We cut it from 16-1 into 9-1 but punters can’t get enough and we’ve had to keep cutting it in again, right into 9-2.
"The stakes are of an average sort, but there are a lot of them. It’s a monster gamble.
“It’s his first run for Michael O’Callaghan and that yard knows the time of day. It looks relatively well exposed, so it must have shown something at home to make it look well handicapped. And it doesn’t look like the kind of race that will take a lot of winning.”

It's the French Guineas today. Runners from Ireland and UK are represented.
In other news Zhukova who beat Found the Arc winner previously won the Man O War in the USA.

French 2000 guineas today over at Deauville. Again, nothing stands out to my eye just yet but a very competitive race.
Brametot, National Defense and OrderOftheGarter head the market. OrderOftheGarter has a similar profile to the Gurkha who won last year for AOB but I'm a bit surprised Moore hasn't opted for him and instead goes for Peace Envoy. Besides I'm not yet convinced by his form.
Instead I'm opting for National Defense 5/1 - won the Lugardere at the end of last season and made a good reappearance when second to Al Wukair who ran 3rd behind Churchill in the 2000 guineas. Definitely has the form and must have a chance. Also will be on Inns Of Court 10/1 who's still unexposed and could be anything. Always like to look for classic winners that are unbeaten going into the race.
