Amazing how two year olds improve differently.Not sure even the connections of Woljayrine expected the win 10-1 right out to 40-1.If I was the owner I would be really pissed if the stable told me it wasn't ready.

....been following the progeny of this dam....and backed this 1st time out.....then saw an odd action in the off fore(the hoof seems to dish inwards).....put me off looking at this again..... :S

on collateral Sir Frenchie went past easily last time plus add the fact Woljayrine had to carry an extra kg today. very surprising improvement. raises questions it was the only 2 yr in the race that had not won a race.

Nothing should surprise you anymore with SA racing Banger.Look at the Live Life race even there a 33-1 shot pips the favorite for second putting many bi-pot tickets in the bin.It's really hard to be confident with anything as there always seems to be a spook somewhere.

a couple of things about Cape Fling ...its not won at 1950m first time at this distance although it is breed to stay being be High Chaparral, last time out it actually over raced so it did a good job running 2nd over 1600m , today its got an extra 2 kgs and is $1.80 Fav ...it should win but im not liking it at this price ...for mine a small play on 3 Onesie @ $10 n 4 New Fort @ $4.80. a lot will be determined by the pace of the race ..
