Slightly misleading, the points shown covers the whole competition, not just those earned on July day.
In the overall competition, ,I dropped to 31st despite having both the July and Garden Province winner....

2017 CHARITY TURF CHALLENGE sponsored by TRACK AND BALL GAMING
So, the big day has come and gone with Marinaresco turning on the turbo up the Greyville straight to collect the VDJ bonus as well as the extra 5 points as a long shot winner, paying R23.90 on the Tote. Given that the son of Silvano was ante-post favourite when betting opened a few months ago, his return was quite staggering and helped many CTC players who had anchored him in their lists. The previous press release carried the point scorers on what was a great day of racing at the Durban City track.
We have a new leader in CM (6) on 236 points, one clear of Kavasan Moodley (10). Premier League July is now in third place on 232 points. The full leader board can be found as a pdf on the website.
LEADER BOARD @ 25 JUNE – TOP 10 ENTRIES
1. CM (6) - 236
2. KAVASAN MOODLEY (10) - 235
3. PREMIER LEAGUE JULY – 232
4. JELLY JUNGLE MONEKY (4) – 219
5. ALM (13) – 218
6. CM (8 ) – 213
7. CM (5) – 212
CM (3) – 212
PREMIER LEAGUE (2) – 212
10. TERENCE REDDY (2) - 209
The leading horse point scorers are as follows:
The next computer generated spot prizes worth R500 sponsored by TabGold will be done on 5 July at Scottsville Racecourse.
Entrants are reminded that they can still recover up to R200 of their entry fees if they open a Track & Ball Gaming online betting account in the form of a credit. Contact Colin Fourie for more information:

Bull Valley cemented his status as South Africa’s top sprinter when winning the Gr.1 Mercury Sprint in dominant fashion and in the process went to the top of the point scorers in the CTC with a tally of 45 points. Search Party rewarded his followers with a third individual 14 point haul producing a total of 42 points, 2 behind second placed scorer, Marinaresco.
The top of the leader board has not changed since it was last updated after Vodacom Durban July day - CM (6) on 236 points, one clear of Kavasan Moodley (10) and Premier League July in third place on 232 points. However, the big mover was Premier League's entries namely (2), (3) and (4) which have joined Premier League July in the top ten giving the aptly named entrant a major shout of picking up the first prize which will be decided on Elan Gold Cup day, Sunday 30 July. VG (1) and Frodo (1) were the other newcomers to the top 10 entries. The full leader board can be found as a pdf on the website.

7. PREMIER LEAGUE (1) – 220
8. JELLY JUNGLE MONKEY (4) – 219
PREMIER LEAGUE (4) – 219
10. ALM (13) – 218

The remaining six computer generated spot prizes worth R500 sponsored by TabGold will be done on 23 and 29 July with three draws on both days.

Thanks shrek, unfortunately no runner in the Gold Cup (only a Gr 3 though) - so will have to rely on the Champions Cup - realistically though I don't think I can make the top 3, and finishing in the Top 10 is as good as finishing in the top 1,000 (prize wize )

They have the Gold Bracelet which is a Grade 2. Plus they are a couple of listed events.

Just had a look at the possible scenarios - it seems I have a VERY SLIM chance of pulling this off - I need Captain America (or Brazuca  ) to win and both Marinaresco and Bela Bela to run out of the top 3
