I was on course on Saturday, but I was in the Elevation room....... looking down at the crowds below.

Must be honest - I did not see a lot of people down below - a lot of tents were in the front of the pavilions.
The private boxes & rooms may well have been full - but I'm damn sure crowds were down PLENTY from last year.

I was there LAST year, & what a shambles it was......... I was in Kelvins bar that day & got to eat prawns at about 16.00 hrs. ( had to wait at least an hour for the prawns to arrive - cause I think, most of the prawns had run out )

Last year was a disaster & that's why I think they stayed away in their droves.

On a positive note - we paid R 30 entrance fee p.p. & WE WERE REFUNDED R 20.00 pp in betting vouchers. BUT THIS WAS NOT ADVERTISED ANYWHERE - WHY

I cannot understand why anyone in their right mind would not highlight this?
