The Sceptre Stakes has always had a touch of class about it and this year even more so with the news that luxury jeweller Cartier has taken on the sponsorship of this Grade Two contest as part of the Summer Of Champions in the Western Cape.

The Cartier Sceptre Stakes will be the headline event on the opening day of the inaugural L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Festival taking place at Kenilworth Racecourse on the 6th and 7th of January.
