she ran to a 102 last time and thks to the limits the handicapers have got by the merry band of special men she will continue to be gifted handicaps :P

Only in SA will they allow the horse to get a shoe refitted when the race is past the off time.

Sorry All, without wanting to cause a stir, but what is the cause of shoes coming off - please excuse my ignorance. Surely if it's because of the nails becoming worn out over time, then one would imagine the trainers would see a horse is re-shoe-ed not long before a big race?

that was a very quick change. About another 100k onto the pick 6 pool i would say.

Unbelievable win with the shoe being refitted but can't help but feel that Marwing timed that badly on Bull Valley, was gaining strongly at the end.
