Depends on how many horses there were in each race and what the bookmaker's formula is where you took it. Shouldnt be less than 100/1

Evening Al, I am afraid to say that place bets are open to much "bastardisation" if thats a word and its naive to expect 1/4 the odds on a place.
It depends on the size of the fields, also has a major effect if a money on shot was in the race, Without having the full facts and being aware of your bookies rules, but as a tongue in cheek guess, anything close to 100/1 would be a fair price.

Have to go out, so cant have a detailed conversation on a "very" flexible subject, but expect a few interesting inputs?

I got a bit more than that. A great win under indifferent circumstances. My oldman passed away last week and we held his memorial service today. I dragged my sister to Marshalls in Toti and took an all to come place bet on the above. 2 Tickets of R10 each. The win really lightened up the day and helped towards the funeral costs. My sister and her hubby are also ecstatic about the win. They could really do with the extra cash so this really helps.

All I can say to this is that life is really mysterious and thank you God for providing.

Especially if you saw how far back Master Khan was with 200m to go.

Thanks Jim. We were not really that close because he chose boozing over his family so winning today was quite ironic.

I dont want to harp on about this . It was really great to win on a day like today though.

I am hoping to carry some form into the Daily News and then on to the Gold Challenge. I am planning to go to Clairwood to see Pocket Power in the flesh. Hopefully I will have built a nice bank to really have a full go on the July. Going for the HT July double. His chances depend on how good the 3 year olds are I reckon.
