Today race 8

Fav runs 3rd. Stable buddy wins.

this is happening all to often and nothing is being done about it.

Punter just getting screwed.

Wrong time of year to backing 3yo`s against 4yo`s

TBF to Strydom he maybe never had her under control? seemed she hung to the inside and the unfavourable going?

Surely you jesting with us Sylvester.

The trifecta comes from the top 4 in the betting.
The first 4 home came from the top 5 in the betting.
The "favourite" was not the original favourite, but come the race the outside draws became hot.
The favourite had just gone up 1kg, and the winner had just gone down 2kgs.

It's a handicap, these things will happen, and they will especially happen to lemmings. To be honest, if your card was any more marked by the betting there wouldn't be much left for you to do.

Trifecta R 219.6 2/3/1
Quartet R 2,437.2 2/3/1/7

Not much for them to enforce here... last meeting against Dolphin ... Movie Show beat her by a length... Last win she ran c/d 56.72 today 57... heavier going today... only time they have met before as far as I can see... The bookies made the price not the stable... Gimme also beat 7 other horses in her last win.... She was getting a pound from Celtic Lady that time .... today she gave her 3 pounds and the result was reversed... Gime held form with the remaining rivals that she beat last time.

Sylvester study the form and not merely the money as many do. Many a stables win with "the other horse" when you least expect it.
Take it on the chin to fight another day.
Blaming racing in SA per se will make our buddies from afar think we really bad (our government is bad enough - even with the Guptas applying for liquidation)

As more trainers leave the game the average number of horses per trainer per race will increase. So too will the number of wrong winning stablemates.

ok yesterdays result not as bad as i made it. the form was there for the winner. i just went with the wrong one.

my frustration is the regularity where the wrong horse from the same stable(all centres) wins lately, but MAC makes A valid point so i will not whine on this point anymore.

Damn.

Sly picked a bad example but it is interesting to remember why the coupling rule was introduced ,for tote betting ,many decades ago ...............the "new" order in racing promotes their own interests over those of the punter so don't expect rules or regulations to protect the customer!

To be fair, the coupling rule in the US is for horses carrying the same colours not same trainer. Isn't it aggravating when you like the black sheep coupling in your jackpot but all the tickets on the favored coupling comes through without running a drum?
