Hearing there is a big Dispersal sale soon

It will be dangerous to pay big money for those well bred 2 year olds. If u keeping 80 why get rid of them ?

I am trying to fathom how many horses does he own.
If he is keeping 80 (still sizeable) then he is clearing rubbish. I think those babies costa lot and he is not likely going to get the price.
So is it clearing out time for the Azzie and Sham stables?
Where do those babies go to if he is keeping tem?

Wonder how many have been sold at lower prices and underhand deals ?

Auction would have been the best for AvVuuren to know exactly what he would be paid fairly

A great pity as racing needs owners like this , and now I am sure he will be handled by unscrupulous sales of some horses without his knowledge

sometimes a prior offer to an auction is a good offer, besides if you listened to Mike Azzie yesterday after the last race he stated that Van Vuuren wanted more for the horse but because it was staying in the Azzie yard he took less. Pretty fair I think... besides what underhand deals could the seller do to himself?

Horses already sold can not be purchased at Auction and possibly higher price obtained

Surely if you have a prior offer then that will be the reserve ???

whats the difference. the man is a seller of a number of horses, surely its his prerogative to accept or decline an offer before they go on auction? if you or someone is interested in a horse, take a chance make an offer , whats the worst that can happen? you go to the auction! I think the seller seems very fair and is giving people the opportunity to buy horse where a substantial amount has already been spent on keep!

How do they know what buyers were willing to bid at Sale ?
Many auctions have initial offers prior to sale and then buyers can better their offers by bidding higher. Initial first buyer can then also decide if he would like to better his offer during bid process if someone bids more
