Arctica’s trainer Mike Azzie said he was “disgusted” with the result of the objection. “I have a stable policy now that neither I nor my sons, my assistants, will object against results again. We have no faith in the stipendiary boards and objecting against them has become senseless. If our jockeys want to object it’s up to them, but we won’t. The Arctica call was a disgusting one by the stipes.”

The Azzie horse got beat the proverbial ball hair. How the stipes believe that the winner did not affect the azzie horse in any way is mind boggling. In my opinion the problem with stipes is their consistency, or rather lack of consistency, in these objections. Similar scenario and different results are order of the day it seems. Trainer Azzie has my sympathy.

Not as clear-cut to me OtA, but if I could give Mr Parker any advice.......he should'nt have his bed in the middle of the room, put it up against a wall so you can stand up on the same side every morning.......

Must be hard for them not to biased against raiders also?

Look at the French, you just have to have a an English name and a review is called in a race

Extremely bold statement made. Will be interested to see what would happen if Abishiri had to run in the met and some interferance came about... I wonder if he would stick to his word and not take it upstairs? Hhhmmm...
