Not a day for big bets, especially with Goodwood and Galway just around the corner.
R6 Uttoxeter Germany Calling E/W. Will enjoy the very fast ground at Uttoxeter today and has run well here in the past. Ran better than his final finishing position in a hot race at Market Rasen last time and can go well here at 8/1 or bigger.
R7 Uttoxeter Pena Dorada win or E/W. The non-runners mean that UK bookmakers will now only be paying two places, although most SA bookies will still be paying three. Is exceptionally well handicapped on last season's form and likes quick ground. This is a weak race and he can give it a good go under his regular amateur rider at 7/1 or bigger.

Let us know if you fancy anything at Ayr tomorrow, Chicken. Don't know whether the west coast of Scotland caught all the rain that has hit Carlisle, but the ground will be very testing at Ayr tomorrow if it did.
