Well firstly let me say 'Really well done' on producing Trip Tease at his best - I know it is not just a case of pushing buttons to get a horse to perform at his best
Secondly perhaps 'not trying' is not the right expression - what I was trying to say is that most of the field seemed to have some sort of excuse - not sure if your comments came over correctly via the presenter, but as I understood it, you were of the opinion that as a result of the virus, One Man's Dream would need the run, and your other horse *name escapes me now) was being aimed at a feature in the next week or so?

One of the consistent patterns of plate races ,is that if a horse stands out on handicap,it is amazing how often the next few best weighted "miss" (horses that would be expected to win if the fav was scratched)-could be coincidence, but it seems some are not punished to place!
I have often watched re-runs of those runs with interest,so maybe you not entirely off the mark.........but not sure what the correct expression is!

Nothing that I can see,as they are not penalized !- but before you run around looking to rubbish everything written, check the patterns ...................you will see how frequently it occurs...............I made no suggestion other than an observation which has quite a high incidence!
