Bob, the problem I have with Harlem Shake is that after winning it's second start, it has run close to stronger and has been penalised for being consistent and not for winning. We has seen a few of these in recent times, the De Kock horse who's name escapes me, was 100+ (I think) and still a maiden. Point being, these horses normally take an eternity to find their true level because the handicapper cannot drop the rating fast enough because of their consistency. So whilst Harlem Shake is taking on weaker than she has faced in her last three runs, for me her rating is too high and as a consequence has to concede too much weight to most. I am not saying she cannot win, just feel she is worth taking on, and the price is an indication of that.

Break a leg though.

Race 4 Gypsy Beauty...will be a very big runner today and my best bet on the card!

Thoughts from the 'guest presenter' ...

I'm with JAT in that I make Gypsy Beauty hard to beat....being a juvenile filly she gets lots of weight from seemingly moderate older horses; the juvenile Captain Marmalade the juvenile colt found big betting support in his debut and looks the only danger imo

Hewitson comes to ride for Snaith, and I think he might be able to get Harry Lime to challenge Tevez - much better off at the weights here as was the case when they were beaten by Gulf Stream, and Tevez in most his races come from so far behind that I think Harry Lime -provided he jumps on terms - could hang on

As my best value I am also siding with Hewitson and Snaith - in the last, Just Rock n Roll ran just over 2 lengths behind Silver Mountain (admittedly receiving lots of weight) but then in her last run before a break finished only 4.3 lengths behind Nightingale (giving that one 0.5 kg's), so look very well in here taking the allowance into account

See Snaith giving young Hewitson a few rides, looking for a new stable jock perhaps? The Hewitson/Tarry combo actually has a better strike rate than the Khumalo/Tarry this season and it wouldn't surprise me that Snaith is seeing this and decided to look elsewhere with half the jocks in Cape Town sleeping. Captain Marmalade in the 4th for me.
