Afternoon,
This afternoon completed, and went as follows....
The 1st runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 3.15 on arrival and then there being a withdrawal and 14.6% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 2.7. The price then dropped down to us and plenty beyond, so we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 3.45 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, under good late support, we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay went and won, so gamble landed and the way it goes....
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.2, and with being around 2.86 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.86. The lay went and won, so again the way it goes......
The 4th runner we wanted 3.1, and with getting around 3.05 on arrival and slightly shorter, we had a lay at 3.05 max. The lay was beaten, and so a good result....
WELL PLAYED/BATTLED......(2 from the 4 (50%) went and won, so not at all easy and we did a good enough job to break level)
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Finished Level......They started on the 1st runner, and then ended up breaking level on their 4th and final lay (the 4th runner)...
'Bank builder' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.7 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.......They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 2.7 max, a but a poor result see them give it back and a shade more......Then came their 3rd lay (the 3rd runner) at 2.86, but another poor result see them go a bit more behind......They then had their 4th and final lay (the 4th runner) at 3.05 max, and a good result see them break level.........
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.7 max. Result positive. Win £59
Total bank now £459
2nd lay £153 to win the remaining £41 @ 2.7 max. Result negative. Lose £70
Total bank now £389
3rd lay £194 to recoup the £11 @ 2.86. Result negative. Lose £20
Total bank now £369
4th lay £369 to recoup the £31 @ 3.05. Result positive. Win £31
Total bank now £400
Overall result. Level.
Traders had to concede a little on the 2nd runner at 2.7 max, and the 3rd runner at 2.86, so not the best of days for them regarding results and they give a bit back today!...
So just 4 runner players getting any action, and with 2 from the 4 winning at quite high prices, it was a good enough job to break level. The tough period continues then, but it will relent and we can cash in again. Speak soon with this evening's workings...

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay.
3.40 Redcar. MILITARY POWER (3.3)
Our price 5/2 (3.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
3.50 Chepstow. DAVENPORT (3.25)
Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under, we'll go in for a lay.
All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 09:47am.
That's all there is for this afternoon then! Just the four tom work around, which spells no play for five runner builders/rollers, and although four runner players have the minimal amount, they also know there's no room at all for any error early! So not easy by any means, but we do have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way.
