Many good horses got caught out yesterday.
COA and Lanner are 2 of them.

Not all 2 year olds train on so is a gamble to buy OOMPH but if he does train on into a Grade 1 WINNER well done to all involved.

Alan told me years ago - when the offers come for any good horse you have and they exceed potential earnings, it is a complete no-brainer. The next day you might find him four bones up inside his stable.
The same advice I passed on to a mate after he won the Met. It takes years to prove a stallion and even more investing in the mares you support him with.
I wouldn't brass PE two year old form. Lizard's Desire almost pulled off a Dubai World Cup and Bold Silvano the July.
