easter dash 500 or 600m?

the official nomination book says its a 500m dash but the official racecard says 600m ..any clarification would be most welcome..i don't want a repeat of what happened with the late Stanley greeff many years ago in pe

yes I can see all the publications say 600m BUT the book that you nominate horses to race specifies the conditions of the race the dist and how the weights are structured etc ...it clearly states 500m go look at it yourself

Is that why it's such a poor Field ? ( size )

Remember a couple of years ago when a horse refused to jump , they were lined up across the whole track

P, I must admit you are are sharp sir and GC should pay you a retainer to keep them in check. :whistle:
You might need Magi and his titanium bb on standby though. :ohmy:

Have to agree-Hyde goes to great lengths about enquiries about "improved runs" ........no comment about the hundreds of "way below ability" runs - I get the impression that the NHA is a "go through the motions" set up!

P, I was just thinking the same thing this morning. We have world class horsemen in SA (includes all of above), but shit our administrators/operators (4 bar the field) are frikken working for their pensions and add zero to the industry. We need a huge shake up !!
