Weather prediction looks lousy so, assuming they race, must be a fair chance the last 3 will be switched to the poly. Especially as the lovely people responsible at this outstanding race track have yet again failed to report the pen going etc, yes, yes, I understand they are all terribly busy, I definitely won't be studying for the races on the troubled turf track until more known tomorrow, if I do at all. I really dislike Greyville lol

I have been waiting for Battle In Seattle since his poly debut. Stewart said before the race that the float was stuck for 6 hours in Van Reenens and was sweating profusely that day. He still won easily. He was given a 5 point penalty for that win and gets it back with a good appy claiming. He is drawn in gate 1 and there doesn't look like he will be challenged for the lead. If he gets an easy lead and kicks at the top of the straight will be very hard to peg back. This is the best of the year so far IMO and grab the 15/10 before it all goes.
Play well.

Thanks Craig. And I partly apologise (to all) for being a bit of a doom n gloom merchant in my pessimistic post last night, I confess I was thinking (most stupidly lol) it was a night meeting and the forecast later is again not the best.
Craig, do you know the thinking behind having the turf races at the back end of the meeting? is it to allow the max possible time to switch to poly if necessary or is there some other reason, just seems a little odd particularly as they are maiden races.
