Thought we can have a thread for the standouts so far ahead of the features coming up.

From my perspective I'm looking at possible Allan Robertson contenders for 'The Secret is Out'

Got the following so far that have looked good to me and possible contenders:

Cloth of Cloud
Exquisite Touch
Al Hawraa
Ebtihaal (although disappointing 2nd time round)
Fresh
Miranda Frost
MyGirlDownUnder

Of course there is still plenty to happen before then and we can chat about the colts and the SA Nursery and Fillies Nursery coming up too

Ebtihaal not in the same league. Expecting some big runs in the Cape this weekend

Some lovely fillies been out and more to come. Some nice ones in CT debuting on Saturday and would add the winner of that race to the list as I expect at least one will be decent based on those pedigrees.
Problem is at this stage massive form reversals no surprise.

was impressive debut this weekend and could be added to list for the fillies race.

Is it just me, or are they slightly behind in their scheduling for the 2 year-old races in Cape Town and Durban this year ? Normally the Strelitzia and the Perfect Promise Sprint are at the beginning of April.

Wake Up Maggie will be going for Allan Robertson according to the Bass' so there is another Var with Exquisite Touch and Diamond in the Sky.

The Secret is Out will be going for the Debutante first up.

The debutante is at the back end of july..the allan robertson is in the first saturday in june. Theres some mini features coming up at scottsville for two year olds to get your filly ready for the big grade1..all the best to you for the upcoming season you have a smashing filly on your hands.

Has the schedule changed ? I see what you are saying now.

VHM was saying Debutante but it must be the Strelitzia which has been pushed back from its original beginning of April date to beginning of May (which was going to be the time of her first run more or less).

Also the Thekwini is on the same date as the Debutante now. Surprised by that.

Will be plenty of winners and maybe a grade 1 from these two races

Janoobi looks special especially when he goes a trip.
