Played the double (R3) Coptic Cross (7/2) X (R6) Fort Meyers (5/1).

Reasoning just now.

R3, Coptic Cross (7/2) - looking at the betting Odd Rob opened 18/10 currently trading at 15/10 (as per Hollywood). This horse last ran in May 2015. Tomorrow night jumps from gate 9 and does appear to race handy. Going to brass this one and say he will need the run. Second favourite, Lady Maher, opened 14/10 and drifted out to 2/1. Taking on the boys, some older than her. I think she will have to be a bit special to win this, the bookies are prepared to take her on by drifting her in the market. That brings me to Coptic Cross. Didn't have the best of draws last time over 1600m, and appeared to tire late after racing handy. Tomorrow from draw 1 and over the 1400m, he could keep rolling.

R6, Fort Meyers, bottom line, the merit rating has dropped 4 points and he has run to much stronger than he tackles on the night. Last time out, appears to have needed that run which was also his first attempt beyond the sprints. Bred to go a lot further, so the 1600m should hold no fears and the stable is bang in form. I'll row in with Fort Meyers.
