I like Spirit Of Hamilton (5/1 - Hollywood) in the 6th race. This horse opened 7/1 with Betting World and is trading at 9/2.
The favourite, Silicone Valley (28/10) is too short (IMHO) having never raced beyond 1200m, so only the race will tell whether he can beat some really hard knockers first attempt over 1600m.
Second favourite, Heartland (4/1), I do not believe he is or has been running anywhere close to the current 102 merit rating. My personal opinion, he could be carrying a kilo or two more than he should be carrying. Dons the eggs helmet.
Joint third favourite, Light The Lights (5/1), it's over a year since his last visit to the winners enclosure, just can't see him prevailing tomorrow especially from draw 11/11. Pulls the visor down.
Spirit Of Hamilton, now we talking possible winner. This horse appears to have found a new zest for racing ever since returning from a rest. If this horse runs close to his current rating, or has improved on that last run, he is the one to be with.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Not sure the fancied runners will see you through in the bipot opener

I don't play the bipot, etc, however I think the top two in the betting should suffice. Quite interesting to see Dixie Express shorten to outright favourite, 18/10 into 15/10, and Tumbles ease from 18/10 out to 2/1, when at the weight turnaround Tumbles should finish ahead of Dixie Express.
Last time out Dixie Express may have suffered from the dreaded second run after a rest syndrome (jury is still out on that theory), however it's good to see Fortune get the ride again, and the horse will hopefully strip a lot fitter. I'll be with this one.
