Tote betting....Who's rules on French co-mingling

......I just had a flutter in France and the horse I backed was scratched....I received the EW refund but it was logged as a winning bet and not a refund.....my swingers however were not refunded but recorded as a losing bet.....so are we using the French tote rules on our tote bets into their pools..... :huh:

Surely if they are comingling they must use the rules of the country that holds the pot ?

In swingers your remaining runner becomes a place bet after the scratching. In Exacta's the remaining runner becomes a win bet.
