Appreciate you thoughts on Beloved Country in race 2. I make her the one they all have to beat, despite taking on the boys. The 4.0kg apprentice allowance is the key for me. A repeat of the run to Brutal Force should see her win this.

Eddie Sweat should like this cd as doesn't quite get there over 1000m and didn't settle over 1400m. Small field might complicate but really just needs a bit of cover round the turn and should place at least (at 9 to 10).

Race 6 - Tales Of Mambo looks like she will appreciate this distance and trainer has been doing well with runners in KZN.

That was a terrible ride by Ian Sturgeon, he could have seriously injured himself the horse and even others, was never a gap to go for
