The guys from wsb have sent this through to me,thought you might like to take a look..

The 1st quarterfinal sees South Africa take on Wales at Twickenham on Saturday 17 October.

The Springboks made the worst possible start to the tournament when they were beaten by rank outsiders Japan. They recovered to hammer Samoa and the USA with a comfortable victory over Scotland sandwiched in between. They finished top of Group B and have made just one change to their starting XV with JP Pietersen returning on the wing. The Boks won’t have good memories of Rugby World Cup quarterfinals having lost 11-9 to Australia in 2011.

Wales were drawn in the Group of Death but a come from behind win over England was the key result which saw them progress as runners up. They opened with a romp over Uruguay and after beating England saw off Fiji before losing 15-6 to Australia despite having their opponents down to 13 men at one point. They had not named their team at the time of writing but have been plagued by injuries to key players both in the lead up and in the Rugby World Cup itself.

Head to Head:

2014 INT Cardiff Wales 12-6 South Africa

2014 INT Nelspruit South Africa 31-30 Wales

2014 INT Durban South Africa 38-16 Wales

2013 INT Cardiff Wales 15-24 South Africa

2011 RWC Wellington South Africa 17-16 Wales

South Africa -8.5 at 9/10

Wales +8.5 at 9/10

Suggested Bet: South Africa win by under 12.5 points at 16/10

Wales will have it all to do given their injury list and the fact that South Africa have had an extra few days rest and finished their campaign with a far easier match. They are extremely fit though and I expect them to give the Boks plenty of problems, especially in midfield where they have some strong runners. In the end the South Africans should pack too much fire power and I will back them to win by under 12.5 points. In the last 5 meetings in the Northern Hemisphere (Cardiff) all 5 games have been decided within this margin and 4 of them were won by South Africa.
