In the 5th race @ Newmarket today, this horse Goathland ran a close second to Star Storm few runs back, SS smashed a good field last Saturday in a Group 3, stable won this race last year so might be some value in Goathland, claimer will definitely help as well.

R3 Newmarket Breton Rock E/W. Placed in this last year and looks to be finding top form. Should run a big race under his ideal conditions today. 7/1 is a fair E/W price.

R4 Newmarket Promising Run E/W. Improving rapidly and won well over this course last time. The step up to a mile will suit and can make the first three at least at an appealing 13/2 (Sportingbet).

Now i have more time to type, The Fav made a very impressive debut last time, but took quite a while to pick up, and there are a couple of sharp bends and a shortish run in at Dundalk, Just feel the 5/1 Glass House was decent ew value...

R8 Dundalk Paddy The Celeb small E/W. This represents a drop in class and he ran much better at the Curragh last time than his final position suggests. Has won over course and distance and could well outrun his odds here. 16/1 is a bit too big.
