check the bettingworld 1900 replay

dynastic carried 54kg
power king 58kg

dynastic finished 0.15 lenghts ahead of power king but now both horses run of 53kg on Saturday

another point is dynastic got first run on power king

now with the swing in weight and better draw power king should finish a good few lenghts ahead of dynastic

eish

well done on SJ guys

Gold Circle will admit to ruining a great race and a stunning city track when they make changes next year.
Big fields were the hallmark of this race and by doing so the race will forever lose its appeal.
And the spin will be the attendance figures but only a fool will go with that

I wish the course was the same as it was years ago but I have no doubt that the day-tripper has no perception of the implications of the tighter course. The July will not lose its appeal easily as the side attractions of the day are the "food" of the casual punter. If Racing was the reason they attended then turnover would be up everyday - These are people that are there for the entertainment aspect of the day and not strictly for the racing - If you told me the food was awful or drinks ran out by 3pm or that there was a crime-wave on course I would worry but a tighter track has no bearing on the day except for us loyal punters.
