Stand To Reason is best in at the weights, but hasn't run over hurdles since leaving Nicky Henderson and his recent flat form suggests he may be in decline. The selection hasn't been disgraced in much stronger races over further recently and should appreciate today's shorter trip. He is clear second best at the weights and has a top conditional jockey booked. 3/1 is a good price to upset the favourite.
R7 Uttoxeter High Ron. Loves Uttoxeter and ran with great credit against a very well handicapped horse here last week. This looks a bit easier and he should run well at around 7/2.

6:50 chelmsford. Top boy ( 6/1 with uk bookie still waiting for sa bookies to price up) decent ew bet. Has been performing reasonably in some tough handicaps . He ran a good 2nd @ nott about 2 weeks ago in a decent looking field. it is a tough small field this but has a chance.
R5 Uttoxeter Steps and Stairs. This is a very weak race which has been made even weaker with three of the more fancied contenders now being non-runners. The selection is the only runner in the race who seems to be improving and he posted a career best effort last time at Worcester when stepped up to this trip and finishing second (the third horse in that race won here last week). Today's opposition is very weak and he can improve again to win this. Daryl Jacob, who was on board last time, keeps the ride. 5/2 is a very fair price (is likely to go off shorter).
