Sylvester' rant about SOUTH AFRICA
10 years 6 days ago
I think enough is enough. i am not a politician nor do i follow politics very closely. i do however read with interest activities and actions that threaten my livelihood. i have seen my personnel wealth in South Africa eroded by 40% in the last 3 years. i have reduced staff head counts by about 60% over the last 5 years to cope with the Increases in ESCOM, FUEL , Labor related rules, uncertainty around E-TOLLS, incompetence when dealing with councils or REGIME departments when trying to get the correct permits, info, rebates etc.Load shedding in the last 7 months has wrecked all budgets not just mine but suppliers and customers alike. i have seen retrenchments in all areas we service and deal with. To deal with LOAD SHEDDING and a sharp increase in theft this year i have spent money on these areas rather than making my business more competitive. Overseas competitors i used to compete with are now way more enticing than a business based in SOUTH AFRICA. In the last few months, weeks and now DAYS we have seen out government policies and inefficiencies come home to roost. SANRAL - 20 BILLION - white elephant. SABC - 50 BILLION hole in the accounts. POST OFFICE - NO board of directors - 10 billion lost. TELKOM shedding 7000 plus jobs. under this regime TELKOM were offered a life line by KOREAN telekoms that would have created jobs. SAA 50 BILLION and counting - no board of directors. PETRO SA 23 billion wiped out in 5 years. TRANSNET 70 BILLION in loans to pay for stage 1 upgrade of network.
ESKOM the biggest mess. nearly 500 billion rand in LOANS under written by the SA REGIME. Brobably in the region of a TRILLION rand damage caused to the economy. MEDUPI looking like another WHITE ELEPHANT. Paid by our tax rands.
we have seen the REGIME create new departments at will adding creating a further backlog in service delivery. The few functioning departments SARS,HAWKS,NPA,HOME AFFAIRS, PARLIAMENT have been savagely attacked by the ANC NEC members. Under the 2014 elected regime TOURISM is on the verge of collapse, Qualified immigrants are being forced out of SOUTH AFRICA, NPA being overridden in violation of the Constitution. HAWKS being purged of ANTI REGIME members, SARS being purged of ANTI REGIME members. and the biggest disaster by far the complete breakdown of PARLIAMENT. The entity so revered by MANDELA and MBEKI and even most of AFRICA now being driven into the ground by this REGIME. we have police storming the National assembly, elected official being arrested and intimidated. SPEAKERS so blatantly breaking the law in parliament but then hiding behinf their majority. signal to the chamber being blocked. yes a lot of complaining but boy we have lots to complain about here in SOUTH AFRICA when it comes to the REGIME that rules SA at the moment. and u thought i was done but no. we had ROUND TWO of the ZENOPHOBIA attacks thanks to the all powerful ZULU king calling all foreigner LICE. "king" only in title he acts like a spoilt brat andnot a leader of nations.is yet to be sanctioned. MARIKANA just drags on and on. We have the FIFA scandal.instead of dealing with it SA minister of sports and all the others in charge buried their heads in the sand. today the now impotent HAWKS have dropped the investigation. Over the week end we have SA in direct violation of THE HAGUE(ICC) defending the DESPOT from SUDAN. we had the signing of a watered down version of the American trade agreement because the minister in charge there is grossly incompetent. this will cost upwards of 6000 JOBS in the chicken industry. SABC missed a world wide agreement to implement a digital network. To date they have no idea how to do it. and Finally the LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE "NKANDLA". Our entire REGIME has one goal keep ZUMA out of jail. they have forgotten how to run a country and as such we have run into a figurative ICEBERG and the GOOD SHIP SA is sinking and sinking fast. So is there hope? is there a solution? If u listen to the ANC REGIME its simple if u unhappy leave go somewhere else. That shows their ignorance and intolerance. Have they tried leaving all your friends and family behind and starting anew in another country not so easy. But there is hope. we have seen TURKEY vote out a DESPOT of a similar ilk as JACOB ZUMA. We have seen a black leader be chosen by a previously WHITE party. i did not hear many WHITES running for the hills but rather embracing him as our next PRESIDENT. I am here to stay and here to fight for my future but boy this regime needs to be removed in double quick time. i pray that GOD gives all out leaders the wisdom to do what is right for SOUTH AFRICA and teh rest of AFRICA. The people living here deserve a better life.

Pretty sad times we live in and I hope for improvement but can't see a born leader to make the change far too much corruption from top to bottom in all government type departments and the productivity levels and attitudes behind the desks are shameful.
If I could also add job creation is never an asset for the employer it's a liability due to current labour law.
IMO
