Dear Phum, I seldom get to bet on PE racing simply because they run mainly on Friday's. Friday is a public holiday and so I was looking to see what may wet my lips in PE on the day. Phum, I don't understand why I never get interesting racing on a public holiday, you have served me six bread and butter handicaps plus two maidens. It would have been so nice for a minor feature or even a big plate. I sha'n't be playing on Friday.

I remember that 1 May Workers Day was always held at Germiston and the feature was the 2700m Workers day Handicap a listed race if memory serves me correctly.
