Looking at the form again, I think Ahlaam beat a very weak lot last time - wide draw - not for me. Royal Trip beaten twice by Peep Show on the turf - big swing at the weights in favor of PS - big value imo - same goes for JupiterandMars - surely the rating is wrong - finished in front of Royal Trip over 1200 and is also better off at the weights - watch out

Bookies drift horses because they can't take money for them, they wouldn't drift them if there was money would they ?

A miss is unfortunately as good as a mile - took Peep Show in doubles with Usisi - but no The Angelus :(

Exactly bob if we saw the big drift early we would not banker the horse. We only can go on the form not if the horse is fit enough or has had problems in training we don't know those things. No money so the drift which means no confidence.

Durbs watching the Market is the most important part of punting imo, bookies that laid the 20/1 the 2nd winner won't have got it back if there was no money on the fancied uncle Tommy ?

Plus money for uncle Tommys stable companion ( didn't it run well after missing the break ) probably caused the punters to desert the original Fav a bit ?

And bob on paper uncle tommy was probably an even money or less shot.If the horse was fit and ready do you think they would offer 28-10?Not a chance. The horse was not fit or had some problem so they thought it could get beaten and it didn't run a place.

who thought?

they price up and take no money...

So they drift and take no money...

Not bookmakers fault there is no money for one horse and more money for others

Royal Rhumba was supported into 8/1 from 16/1
olympic Bolt from 8/1 into 4/1

This is why Uncle Tommy was stretched, not because the bookies knew
