Uncle tommy 12-10 out to 28-10 runs accordingly.Very well in at the weights and the bookies where giving us 28-10 somehow they knew the well being of the horse and we didn't have a clue

Dean bud, doesn't look to be anything wrong with the surface to me. Plenty entrants today as well which shows plenty owners/trainers think there is still a place for sand racing, just have to keep the course properly maintained. Not so long ago some of us thought it was the most consistent course in SA, just get it back to that and all should be well. Plenty turf meetings have plenty head scratching results too...

Looking at the ratings again, if one takes Uncle Tommy out, there was not a lot between the others - did not make Stavinsky any easier to find - took the 'well deserving' trainer 56 runs to try the horse over further :ohmy:
