Dunford has a 4th place in the Gold Cup behind Thundering Star.

Why do you say that? De Kock is on record as saying that she needs at least 2000m on pedigree to show her best. What do you know that he doesn't?

Sorry guys no... i think she has shown too much raw ability and speed against top class oponents over 1400m - 1600m to stay the extra trip of the July.. ( just my opinion)

I really think she has not had a race yet,get her to the UK forget about that cespit Dubai

Peter, just my opinion,Sure MDK knows a lot more than me :)

I just think she is too high class, over the shorter trips to properley stay the longer trip of the July

Empress Club came to CT and blew away the top sprinting fillies over 1000m at Durbanville. Didn't stop her staying 2000m plus.
Majmu settles at a good cruising speed and then kicks away easily, running on over the stiff Turf mile. On that looks easily able to go further. Her biggest problem in the July could be the handicapper, not the trip.

Taban also ran in the same race over 1000m so it was open to colts, geldings, mares, fillies.

She is nominated for the Oaks and President's Cup(2000m) on Champs Day(25 April) so if she chooses either we will get an idea of her winning ground - I personally think she will stay 2200m
