Not that long ago you could try and win the Lincoln with a lightweight , think today's lowest rated horse is 97 Eish ...

I see Romsdal is making his seasonal debut at Kempton ( placed in the Derby and the St Leger) they must have bigger fish to fry this season , maybe the coronation Cup at Epsom or they would have been in Dubai

Trip is a bit Sharp but I've got a feeling he will drift in the betting , will just watch if I can't get close to 8/10

Ps the 2nd fave is a very dodgy betting propo

Doncaster 15:45 The Lincoln

I have taken a look at the Lincoln today and the wind will be coming from their backs favouring the stand side.

Draw has never been a big part of this race but with the wind supposedly getting up during the afternoon 20 -21 it may favour the high draws. The going is good to soft soft in places.

I like the look of 4 horses!

1 (14) 17/1 Bronze Angel comes off a long rest and has won fresh before also can handle big fields but shows signs of weakening in the market also carries top weight.

8 (19) 14/1 Moohaarib has won on good to soft but only in small fields so question mark there steady in the market.

12 (15) 11/1 Gabriel likes the going and improving in the market been campaigned over longer distance then dropped back to the mile and wins, maybe can do it again.

14 (21) 6/1 GM Hopkins well supported but steady in the markets and tipped earlier by a Clanner.

To me these horses have all performed over the going they have all won races in big fields except Moohaarib (but not tested) and if the wind picks up will have the stands rail in their favour.

:)

Tullius should win today, maybe the double with Romsdal.

Frontline Phantom in the last race at Doncaster, has a decent record over the course and the app has won on him before, nice eway chance today...hopefully get around 8's.

R4 Stratford Sweeping Rock E/W. Has run three good races over hurdles. Was a beaten favourite at Ludlow last time, but made a terrible mistake at the first and then chased a furious pace on ground that would have been softer than ideal. Today's quicker conditions should be ideal (won on firm on the flat) and he can make the first three here in a race which I don't think is as strong as it seems on paper. 10/1 is very generous (and too big!).

I'm diving in on Gabriel today in the big one. After last years Dubai will have been more settled and has raced in better class.
