Legislate`s MET participation

From the snaiths facebook

LEGISLATE is on the mend but we would like to urge the public not to place any bets on the Champ until he has been accepted, galloped exceptionally well and only once we give the thumbs up. The 2014 Equus Horse of the Year will only race if he is back to full health – the horses wellbeing and reputation is paramount. We will keep all of you updated on his progress and thank you for your support.

What reputation??? The horse of the year did NOT pass the line first in the July and ran stone last in the QP without any indication that he was having a lung or viral problem.

Good luck to the followers.

Bit harsh...reputation being winner of the Derby, sa guineas , daily news, July ( even if he had lost it) and green point in succession. That's better form than 99.9% of horses that ever ran in SA. Certainly the LQP form is a blip no matter what the cause.
