2013 CTYS Book 2

There is a race restricted to horses sold on the above sale
The race is at the Big T on 10th Feb for R2.5k
I looked at the catalogue yesterday and battle to find any good horses
suitable for such a stake
Has anybody checked and is there a log out yet

only seen a log for book 1, maybe they are getting that race dusted first?

There is no log out yet- they appear to be focussing on the Jan race for book 1 for now.
The current top rated horse from book 2 is gr1 winner Guiness , but he's not sure to get 1400m
I have Siren's Call aimed at this race- with the 2.5kg fillies allowance she will be a big runner although she is now looking for further.
The book 1 race for R1m will be a stronger field with a number of top performers eligible, but there are a number of nice winners lining up for the book 2 race.
The book 2 is R2.5m which is whopping stake. There is also a trainer's incentive of R1m for the trainer of the highest earning book 2 sales graduate as at the end of their 3yo season.
The lack of marketing from CTS around the 10th Feb is surprising, but perhaps they don't want to steal the thunder from the upcoming book 1 sale.
2014 sale both book 1 and book 2 eligible for the $1m race in Jan 2016.

There a little horse by Lateral out of a handy mare called Donatella called Valerin that goes ok?

another Lateral also from that sale is Milton has won 2 x 1400 easily
and Shinning Day from Marshall
The noms are very late for anybody who has to travel especial if it is from from CT
What happens if the horse does not get into the race?
