Craig Greyville and Scottsville staff surely work for Gold Circle. Why could the Scottsville crowd not be bussed down to Greyville. I am afraid there was not the will to race today. The fact that we have a night meeting planned obviously influenced the poor decision taken to abandon.
Hibs you are incorrect in saying racemeetings are not changed on the same day. There are many examples of this. Turfontein to Vaal, Fairview to Arlington, in fact many years ago I remember a Gauteng meeting getting moved to Scottsville! Granted that was not the same day change but clearly illustrates that if the will is there, then things can happen.
