Turffontein Racecourse will stage its second last night race meeting for the season on the public holiday Day of Reconciliation, Tuesday 16 December. A turn at the racecourse situated south of Joburg is an ideal way to round off the public holiday entertainment.
On the day, there will be nine races for patrons to enjoy and it will be run on the world class Turffontein Standside track. The last night racing for the year will take place on 30 December 2014.
Night racing at “The Big T” provides plenty of fun for both racing purists as well as newcomers to the Sport of Kings and there is always a festive vibe on course. This is not only due to the thrill of watching and betting on magnificent thoroughbred racehorses, but also due to Turffontein's renowned in-house catering.
