Looking at a few races, the Woodruff first timers in the 2nd and 3rd races don't have to be too smart to make winning debuts.
In the 2nd race, there has been a scratching with no deduction applicable and Magic Trip looks to have been adjusted in to a shorter price, whilst the second and third favourites have drifted.
In the 3rd race, whilst Silver Peg may not be bred to sprint, he could run them down the with the 2.5kg pull at the weights.
R4, Bulleting Home looks the one to beat from a decent draw. Decent provincial debut run to Thatho Magestique who came out and won again on Saturday. That was from draw 15/15, tomorrow night if he gets away okay from draw 4, think he will be hard to beat.
R6, Greasepaint back in handicap company, a repeat of his last effort in plated company, should see him put this field away. He did have Alboran Sea behind him that night. Does look like the stand-out bet on the card.
Play well.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Today's Treble
Scotts:
Escovitch - Eye Catching debut - Ran on strongly behind translunar and short head behind Casciano who came out to win next time out on today's C&D, beating Rif Raff who then went on to beat Escovich.
Turffies:
Vancouver Gold - Decent debut behind Bichett - Strong formline to follow - Main danger will be the 1st timers - Tarry's Toreador filly could be good enough to win 1st time out? Of the raced runners Sendintheclowns - Marwing should be right up there again and Strydoms ride not far behind. But all n all hoping for natural improvement and another winner for Azzie and JP.
Bulleting Home - Again been following him since his 2nd run at Scotts where he ran on strongly. Good draw and Strydom up - NAP
