TV Superstar kills three horses

Soap actor Ramey Short was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday night after killing several horses in a collision on a dark road.

"The police tried to chase horses off the road in the opposite direction and it was very dark when some horses from my right hand side ran in front of my car," the actor, known for his role as Dr Quinton Meyer in the kykNET soap Binnelanders said on Facebook.

"I killed three horses. It could have been much worse but luckily the horses went over the car and not through the windscreen. The police saw everything happen. I have to say the Paarl police was really great." The actor says he wasn’t injured in the accident.

There was a similar incident near Hillcrest, KZN a few weeks ago involving donkeys and cars. It's never a nice outcome...
