Not wear helmets ?

I see loads of pics of yards strings with no helmets, do they refuse to wear them ? Or do the yards not supply them ?

Hey Bob,

The NHA implemented rule 58.9.1 (which came into effect in October 2013) making it a requirement that all people riding a horse have to wear a serviceable skull cap and there are penalties for those who do not comply.

I wrote an article about it late last year if you're interested.
